Sony HTCT260 Review

Sony HTCT260Preliminary any buyer should be clear that a soundbar system can never produce the same sound experience as a surround system. Sound bars do not provide surround sound. Accordingly, appropriate reductions are needed in expectations.

On the package I have had quite a way to drag. The focus is the wireless subwoofer to create the scales at over seven kilos.

The construction is pretty simple. I’m not one who likes to struggle through instructions, especially as I have often had the experience that they do not agree. Simply use the included Opticalkabel with TV or Blu Ray player (if the TV does not have the needed connections) connect and then connect to the stream. Other connection options (coaxial, analog) are given. Even the remote control is almost self-explanatory.

Incidentally, I leave it at the default setting. To my ears, the bass and treble sound with movies so perfect. We tested the Soundbar using scenes from The Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings and Spiderman.

Also, I’ve played through Bluetooth on the smartphone different music. Again, the sound can be heard.

The other reviewers complained of noise for quieter sounds or no sounds I can not find the way. I have tested this explicitly again several times.

The simple design, which reminds me of an oversized pencil, I like very much. Who by the way is bothered by the display, able to exhibit this.

About a “Night – switch” it is possible to reduce the bass quickly, so the neighbors will not be disturbed when sleeping.

The only slight downside is that I have not managed it yet, the remote control as indicated by the manufacturer, to use it for my TV.
